About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the institution has been established as a quality-sustaining and quality-enhancing mechanism in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The IQAC functions as an integral part of the institutional system to ensure continuous improvement in academic, administrative, and infrastructural processes. The primary objective of the IQAC is to develop a systematic, consistent, and catalytic approach to enhance the overall performance of the institution. It plays a pivotal role in planning, guiding, and monitoring quality-related initiatives and in fostering a culture of excellence and accountability in all institutional activities. The IQAC actively promotes learner-centric teaching-learning processes, innovative pedagogical practices, outcome-based education, and the effective use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It facilitates academic planning, encourages faculty development programmes, research activities, and professional ethics among staff and students. Regular academic and administrative audits, stakeholder feedback mechanisms, and performance evaluations are conducted under the guidance of the IQAC to identify strengths, address gaps, and implement corrective measures. The cell also supports curriculum enrichment, extension activities, community engagement, and value-based education in alignment with national educational priorities. In addition, the IQAC is responsible for documentation, data management, and preparation of quality-related reports such as the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) and inputs for the Self-Study Report (SSR) during the NAAC accreditation process.
